Irina Drozd

Irina Drozd

Born in 1980, lives in St. Petersburg. Studied at the Higher Arts School in Berlin and the Shtieglits State Arts Academy. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

MOMMA, Moscow, 2011, 2012

The “Dust” installation was shown within the framework of the international youth biennial in 2012 and acquired for the MOMMA collection. 

 

A joint work with Ivan Plusch was shown at the “Art Is Art Is Art” exhibition in 2011, and was later acquired for the MOMMA collection. 

 

5th Moscow Biennial, 2013

Irina Drozd participated in the “Media Courtyard” project, a street installation in the courtyard of the media-communications faculty and the culturology department of the Higher School of Economics. 

 

The National Center for Contemporary Arts, 2010

Participated in the “Vis-a-Vis” exhibition, later shown at the State Fine Arts Academy in Lyons, France. Two works by Irina Drozd are held in the NCCA collection. 

 

Cite International Des Arts De Paris, 2010, 2013 

Irina Drozd has twice been invited to a residency at the Cite International Des Arts De Paris.

In 2011, participated in the “Gates and Doors” exhibition, and in 2013 in the “Invitation to Lunch” exhibition.
